We are so excited to have you as part of out Sugar Bugs family. Your first dental visit with us is meant to help you feel comfortable and get to know us. We want the best for you and your teeth and look forward to helping you teach your Sugar Bugs to be GOOD!
On your first visit, we will talk to you and your mom, dad, grandma or grandpa about you! We want to know about you and any concerns you may have. Once we are familiar with you, we will take you on a tour of our office, where you will meet the dentist and the staff. You will get to see other kids laying in dental chairs, getting their teeth cleaned and picking out their prizes. Getting familiar with each other is the first step to a positive dental experience.
Following the tour, we will brush and floss your teeth and gums, count your teeth, take any necessary radiographs and talk to you about how to take care of your teeth and what foods help keep those Sugar Bugs good. We will take this time to help you understand how healthy teeth help your body be healthy.
Everyone has Sugar Bugs, we just teach them to be good!
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your child establish a dental home by one year of age. Understand that as a parent you are a role model in your child’s life. Encourage your child to have a good attitude towards dental care. Take the time to help your child develop good dental habits such as proper brushing, regular dental visits, routine flossing, and a good diet. Be natural and easygoing when you tell your child about their appointment. Stay positive to help ensure your child views their dental visits as a positive opportunity to stay healthy and keep those Sugar Bugs Sparkling.
I love bringing my kids here. It’s worth the drive from Idaho Falls so my kids can have a good experience going to the dentist. Dr. Bybee is very good with the kids and she is very informative. Love that a wellness approach is taken here. My kids love the prizes at the end which make for a good experience for them to want to come back. There are also tv’s on the ceiling at each station for the kids to watch Disney plus.
Have taken several of my children to see Dr. Morgen Bybee. She is great with children! She explains everything she plans to do with us before hand and the kids just love her. They’ve got a play area and lots of TVs on the ceiling for the kids to watch while they’re in the chair. The staff and assistants are all very kind. Best Peds Dentist in town!
